3. Safe Removal & Replacement Guide

Warning: Removing the battery involves risks. Operate only after the battery is fully drained, and only adults should perform it. Use only a genuine or certified replacement battery with an identical model and specification. The same battery model may be used in several products with different structures, so refer to the product manual for product-specific disassembly steps.

Removal (taking out the old battery)

1. Prepare tools: Prepare a small Phillips screwdriver (see the product manual for the exact type).

2. Remove the cover screws: Use the screwdriver to remove the fixing screws on the product enclosure.

3. Open the enclosure: Gently open the clips along the enclosure seam (some products are pure snap-fit and require no tool).

4. Disconnect: Locate the lithium battery inside, grip the plug part of the connector with your fingers and gently pull it out. Do not pull the wires directly.

5. Take out the battery: The battery may be fixed with double-sided tape; gently pry it up to remove.

Installation (fitting the new battery)

1. Check the new battery: Confirm the model, voltage, and connector orientation match the original exactly, with no physical damage.

2. Secure the new battery: Place the battery in its slot. If double-sided tape residue remains, apply a small piece of fresh tape (or the included adhesive) to hold the battery firmly without wobbling.

3. Connect: Grip the plug, align it with the socket on the mainboard, and insert it straight and steadily until it clicks fully into place. Do not force or insert at an angle.

4. Close the enclosure: Align the upper and lower covers and press along the edges to snap the clips shut, ensuring a tight seam.

5. Tighten the screws: Reinstall the enclosure screws with the screwdriver, using moderate force to avoid stripping.

Power-on verification

1. First charge: Connect the charger, confirm the charging indicator lights up, then charge fully (a full first charge is recommended).

2. Function test: Power on and run basic functions to confirm the device works normally and the battery level displays correctly.

Important reminders

· During removal and installation, do not poke, bend, or squeeze the battery with metal tools.

· Take the removed old battery to a professional recycling point immediately; do not store it long-term or discard it casually.

· If the device fails to power on or behaves abnormally after installation, disconnect the battery immediately and contact after-sales support.

· By starting the replacement you acknowledge and accept the associated risk. Users without hands-on ability are advised to use a professional repair service.

4. Spare Parts Availability

In accordance with Article 11(7) of Regulation (EU) 2023/1542, this battery is available as a spare part for at least 5 years after the last unit of this model is placed on the market, at a reasonable and non-discriminatory price, to end users and independent professionals.
